Pan Fried Broccolini

Serves 2-3

Cook Time: 8-10 min


This dish is quick, easy and has a great balance of fresh and flavorful.

Ingredients

½ lb broccolini

1 tbs olive oil

1 tsp kosher salt

1 tsp fresh ground black pepper

1 tsp red pepper flakes

4 cloves garlic, minced

¼ cup water

Parmesan cheese, for frying and for garnish

Lemon wedges, for garnish


Instructions

  1. Trim the bottom ½-inch of the broccolini stems.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, add in olive oil, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, garlic and a light sprinkle of freshly grated parmesan cheese. Toss until evenly coated.

  3. In a large pan, over medium-high heat, add in oil. Add the seasoned broccolini and sauté for about 5 minutes. Add in a small splash of water, cover, and cook / steam for about 3 minutes. Repeat as needed until the broccolini is vibrant in color and you see a little char. Make sure to stir constantly, so that the garlic doesn’t burn.

  4. Serve immediately, with extra parmesan cheese and lemon. Enjoy!
