Simple, quick and crispy! If you are looking for a quick meal and are a lover of tofu, this one is for you.
Ingredients
1 package traditional or firm tofu
Cornstarch, for heavy coating
Oil for light frying
1 tbs garlic chili paste
1 tbs soy
1 tsp sesame oil
Green onions, for garnish
Instructions
Drain the tofu, let sit for a few minutes, pat dry and cut into small cubes.
Place cornflour in a large bowl, and coat the tofu cubes.
Heat up the oil in a frying pan on medium-high. Add in the tofu. Fry for a few minutes on each side and cook until crispy and lightly browned. Transfer to a plate lined with paper towels.
Add sauce ingredients into the pan and cook for 1-2 minutes. Throw the tofu back in and make sure to coat well. Add more sauce ingredients if needed.
Plate, garnish with green onions and enjoy!
