Creamy Masago Udon

Serves: 1-2

Time: 20 min


Quick and delicious creamy masago udon can be achieved in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

2 servings udon noodles

2 tbs butter

1.5 tbs flour

1/2 cup cream

1/2 cup dashi

1 tbs Japanese mayo

3 tbs tobiko

1 poached egg (optional)

Seaweed, cut thin for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Cook noodles, cool and set aside.

  2. Create roux with butter, flour, dashi and cream. Cook 2-3 minutes. Set aside and let cool.

  3. Mix in mayo and and tobiko.

  4. Toss in udon, and garnish with egg and seaweed bits.
