With the holidays just around the corner, we wanted to help get your dinner sides inspiration going. This recipe is super quick, easy, and even more delicious. There is nothing like roasted vegetables, whiskey and syrup to make us feel so cozy.
Ingredients
5 medium carrots
3 medium parsnips
1 tbs olive oil
¼ cup whiskey
¼ cup maple syrup
1 pinch of salt & pepper
Instructions
First prep the vegetables and preheat the oven.
Preheat the oven to 375.
Oil the whole carrots and parsnips, and add a pinch of salt and pepper.
Cook them in the oven for about 45 min and halfway through, flip them over for a more even cook. Let the vegetables cool and then cut into large bite sized pieces.
Now prepare the glaze. Put in equal parts whiskey and syrup into a pan over medium heat. Add a pinch of salt and cook until the glaze is thicker.
Mix the vegetables and glaze together.
Serve warm!
