Bacon & Mushroom Frittata


This recipe is perfect for a brunch party, or for a lazy Sunday morning. Throw all your favorite ingredients in, and watch the edges crisp up & let the mouthwatering smell of the bacon give you hope. Pairs well with a mimosa!

Ingredients

6 eggs

1 large onion, chopped

3 cloves of garlic, crushed & diced

Bacon strips, cooked, cooled & chopped

1 cup mushrooms, sliced thin

1 cup of cheese of your presence

1/2 cup of green onions,

Salt & pepper to taste

Process

  1. Preheat oven to 350.

  2. Prep, chop (if needed) and set aside in separate bowls: eggs, onion, mushrooms, cheese, & green onions.

  3. Add a handful of chopped green onions. salt and pepper into the bowl containing eggs. Make sure to stir well until the yolk and white are fully incorporated.

  4. Cook the bacon slices on a medium sauté pan over medium heat. Turn slices over as necessary, and cooking them until crispy. Let cool, chop, and set aside.

  5. Sauté the onions, garlic & mushrooms in the same pan until onions are translucent and mushrooms have browned.

  6. In a lightly greased oven safe wok or skillet, throw together the mixed eggs, sautéed mushrooms, garlic, onions and half of the cheese.

  7. Add the rest of the cheese on top, along with the green onions and bacon bits.

  8. Place in the oven and let cook for approximately 15 minutes or until the center is dry and the edges crispy.

  9. Add extra green onions slices and bacon bits to the finished product.

  10. Serve hot & enjoy!
