Egg Tarts


Yields: 24 Tarts

Prep Time: 15 min

Cook Time: 20 min

Ingredients

1/2 cup of heavy cream

1/2 cup whole milk, plus a little more

6 tablespoons sugar

6 egg yolks

A drop of vanilla

Frozen pie sheets

Process

  1. Preheat the oven to 350° F.

  2. Let frozen pie sheets thaw.

  3. In a large mixing bowl, pour milk, cream, and sugar. Mix the egg yolk and vanilla in next. Stir until incorporated.

  4. Roll out and cut the pie sheet into small circles. Make sure that the sheets are thinly rolled out as they will increase in thickness.

  5. Using a muffin tin, place the pie sheets inside, fill ¾ of the way up with liquid mixture.

  6. Bake for 20 minutes, and repeat all steps until all mixture and pie sheets have been used.
